Paloma Contreras is an award-winning interior decorator, tastemaker, and design blogger based in Houston, Texas. Paloma’s design sensibility is a modern take on traditional style– gravitating towards classic silhouettes and timeless pieces paired with a touch of glamour and an infusion of color. Paloma has been featured in multiple publications and websites including Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Domino, ELLE DECOR, LUXE and many more.
Paloma launched her widely read blog, La Dolce Vita, in 2007 where she continues to write about “the sweet life” on a daily basis and was named #4 on Forbes’ list of the Top 10 Social Media Influencers in the Home category. Paloma believes that the most beautiful interiors are also the most personal. Her first book, Dream Design Live, was published by Abrams in September 2018.


Courtnay Tartt Elias

Courtnay Tartt Elias is best known for her refined floor plans, lively color palette, passion for art and unexpected blend of diverse periods of style. Each project is curated specifically towards the clients’ unique tastes and style. After receiving her BA from Southern Methodist University, Courtnay attended Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London, where she specialized in 19th and 20th Century Decorative Arts. Courtnay began her creative career in Houston in marketing and special events for Gerald Hines’“The Galleria” and Brennan’s of Houston prior to founding her design firm Creative Tonic in 2005. The award-winning Creative Director and Designer is not without an abundance of color in her own life. In addition to her time spent at Creative Tonic, Courtnay serves on the Rienzi Committee and the Rienzi Collections Committee for the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and the Southern Methodist University Alumni Board. In 2018, Courtnay received a national Luxe Magazine Red Award.

He is also a frequent guest on television and radio. Farmer’s natural Southern grace and warm personality light up any room. A skilled and entertaining speaker, Farmer is truly a fresh voice for his generation. Whether he is teaching how to plan the perfect summer picnic, using everyday items to create exquisite tabletops, creating gorgeous flower arrangements and wreaths, or making his grandmother’s skillet peach pie, Farmer masterfully guides his audience through the art of elegant garden living.

For more than two decades, Courtney Hill Fertitta has specialized in bespoke interior design.Her portfolio of residential and commercial projects exhibits her trademark style of curating timeless and sophisticated spaces, finely attuned to the client’s lifestyle and taste. She has an unmatched vision, and clients are drawn to her charismatic nature and innate sense of style. With a mastery of scale and a keen eye for color, Courtney infuses a creative use of materials into each project. She began her career in the Interior Design Program at the University of Texas School of Architecture. Post graduation, she further honed her skills working as a designer for two world-renowned New York-based firms, Victoria Hagan Interiors and Greg Jordan, Inc. As Principal of Courtney Hill Interiors, she leads a highly skilled team who is passionate about design and continually inspired to create the unexpected.


Sarah Foltz

Sarah Foltz is an art historian and fine art appraiser, specializing in 19th and 20th century Texas art. She has over twelve years of experience working as gallery director, before becoming sole owner of William Reaves | Sarah Foltz Fine Art earlier this year.

She completed her M.A. in Art History at Southern Methodist University; prior to this, she received her B.A. in Photojournalism at the University of Texas at Austin. Her background includes New York University’s Fine and Decorative Art Appraisal Studies program, as well as the Provenance Research Training Program in Zagreb, Croatia, which focused on restitution of Nazi era looted cultural property.

Sarah is an active member of the Appraisers Association of America (accredited), CASETA (Center for the Advancement and Study of Early Texas Art), HETAG (Houston’s Earlier Texas Art Group), the Menil Contemporaries, CAMH Young Patrons, MFAH Art Crowd, and Stewards of the Wild – Houston Chapter.


Melissa Kepke Grobmyer

Born and reared in Houston, MELISSA KEPKE GROBMYER graduated from St. John’s School in 1986, and earned her Bachelor of Arts and her Master of Arts degrees at the University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated with high honors. Twenty years ago, Melissa founded MKG Art Management, the only art advisory and appraisal firm in Houston at that time. With a staff of seven, MKG manages over 300 million dollars worth of art assets for corporate and private clients.

Melissa has assembled collections for Fortune 100 companies as well as for private collectors. These collections focus on various topics in American and European art, spanning the 19th through 21st centuries, and include painting, photography, sculpture and new media. She has also researched, assembled and administrated collections of Texas Regionalism, American Modernism, Abstract Expressionism, and 19th century Realism, Impressionism, and Beaux Arts painting.


J. Randall Powers

DzThe ability to select objects and make them harmonize in a space is what decoration is really all about,dz Randall says. “I do not follow trends and do not like to be categorized by stereotypical whims of decorating. I adore the irreverence of many different periods and find that the best rooms look timeless when they’re layered with unique objects and peppered with sentimentality.

Randall’s projects have been featured in Architectural Digest, VERANDA, ELLE DECOR, House Beautiful, Southern Accents, Southern Home, The New York Times, PaperCity and LUXE.


Hallie Henley Sims

Hallie Henley Design is a Houston, Texas based interior design firm committed to creating timeless, sophisticated and comfortable interiors that are reflective of the individuals who inhabit them. Owner Hallie Henley Sims leverages multiple years of experience in the hospitality and high-end residential design fields to create spaces that are fresh, tailored and eminently chic. Hallie’s background includes a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design from the University of Oklahoma coupled with a Master of Arts Degree in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Hallie began her career at the hospitality design firm Duncan Miller Ullmann Design, working on boutique hotel projects in the US and abroad in China. Hallie then went on to fine tune her design talents working for the award-winning residential design firm Courtney Hill Interiors in Houston, Texas. Hallie Henley Design’s portfolio of work includes new ground-up construction projects as well as full-scale renovations.
