Why Traditional? Why Antique?
For twenty-five years Jayne Design Studio has successfully combined antique and contemporary objects to create stylishly traditional interiors.
Hailed as a mega decorator by the Wall Street Journal, Thomas Jayne is widely acclaimed for incorporating both historic and contemporary elements into his design schemes. A Winterthur Museum trained curator and an alumnus of the seminal interior design firm Parish-Hadley, Thomas decorates interiors that are cosmopolitan and distinctly American for a wide range of patrons – from young families and discerning collectors to world renowned museums. With his colleagues at Jayne Design Studio, he works throughout the United States – including Texas – as well as abroad.
Thomas’ twenty-five years of success are attributed to his creativity and consistency; combining what he calls the “ancient and the modern” to create fresh, stylish rooms that are handsome and comfortable. Jayne Design Studio has been named to Architectural Digest’s AD100 for its scholarly depth of knowledge and disarmingly lighthearted approach to decoration. And, Thomas’ third book with Monacelli Press will be published in 2017.
