The Theta Charity Antiques Show is one of the top charity antique shows in the country, exhibiting fine furniture and decor from a wide variety of design styles and time periods and contributing nearly $8 million to important local charities since its founding.
Join us for the 2018 Theta Charity Antiques Show on November 16 - November 18 as we bring the George R. Brown to life with botanical beauty in textiles, furnishings, art, ceramics, metals and more. To request consideration as a 2018 exhibitor, complete the 2018 Exhibitor Form.
Last year, the Show celebrated its 65th anniversary with a Design Weekend offering many types of design to interest a wider audience. This year, the Show seeks to return to its roots as the Theta Charity Antiques Show while still planting seeds for a new generation of designers and buyers. This year’s theme features the timeless beauty of Botanicals which breathe life into today's homes from antique prints to contemporary wallpaper. Guest speakers include prominent designers Carolyne Roehm, Miles Redd, Suzanne Kasler and Ashley Woodson Bailey.
As always, funds raised from the 2018 Theta Charity Antiques Show will go to support our four permanent beneficiaries: Texas Children’s Cancer Center, Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens/Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Child Advocates and, the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation. Additionally, four deserving local charities have been selected to receive philanthropic support from this year’s Show: I am Waters, Second Servings, Martha’s Way – CCSC, Freedom Place – Arrow Family Services and Small Steps Nurturing Center.
The Theta Charity Antiques Show is completely run by more than 40 Committee Chairs and 200 volunteers of our chapter, working together to make it a success. Be on the lookout for more details about this year’s Show and ticket purchases, and if you would like to provide underwriting support, please contact Patricia Hamilton Blalock at firstname.lastname@example.org.
